Citizenship and citizenship education in Europe, theories of democracy and participation, theories of professionalisation, sociology of science and sociolinguistic methods.

Since 2006 continuous undergraduate and graduate seminars in teachers training, sociology and political sciences on topics of citizenship, citizenship education, theories of democracy, commemoration work, etc.

2009-2011 series of Intensive methodological trainings for PhD students (CGES Methodological Workshop Series,  with Dr. E. Belokurova, ZDES,  St. Petersburg)

2010-2012 Co-Organiser of International PhD-Conference Series in cooperation with University of Notre Dame, Indiana,  Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology
