Environmental Journalism in Europe and Russia

The research project was conducted in the previous years and was connected with the research stay of the author in Berlin. The project was aimed at comparing the current development of environmental journalism in Russia with the European experience.

Over the last few years, a rapid development of environmental journalism is observed in Russia, but it is still comparatively new to the media landscape. While in Europe environmental reporting has been developing over the last few decades, it obviously has a significant impact on global standards of journalism, including the ones in Russia.
